Handmade Philly: Membership
5/2009: We now have over 90 members! Want to become part of a dynamic and diverse organization of artists? Great! Handmade Philly is an independent, member-run artist collective. Members organize and participate in events and educational programs. Membership is open to artists, crafters and designers (established and emerging) living in or near Philadelphia, PA.
Artists of all media, styles and levels of experience are welcome to join. Members must make their wares/ art (we do not accept re-sellers of vintage or objects made in factories).
Members are expected to maintain active participation in the group. Active participation can be anything from attending meetings, posting on the message boards, distributing group information, website/ flyers/ advertisement design, hosting events, helping plan events, etc.
Application emails need to include either a link to the applicant’s web address or 3 jpegs (no larger than 1024x768 pixels and 72 dpi).
